TRI adopts dogs out based on best fit.

You must meet the following criteria to be eligible to adopt one of our loving dogs:

Be 18 years of age or older.
Have identification showing your current address.
If you rent, be able to provide a written letter of consent from your landlord that you are allowed to adopt a dog (letter must specifically

state weight and breed of dog).

Be able and willing to spend the time and money necessary to provide training, medical treatment and proper care for your dog.

I hereby fully and forever waive, release, hold harmless, indemnify and defend, The Rescue Inn, Inc., (hereby known as TRI) and their respective employees, volunteers, agents, officers, board members, trustees, successors and assigns, together with their insurance carriers from and against any and all actions, claims, demands, causes of actions, lawsuits, expenses or damages of every nature whatsoever, which I may have now or in the future against TRI, for any and all personal injuries, property damage, injuries to other pets and other damages, known and unknown, arising out of or attributable to my participation or attendance at an TRI event or activity or my viewing, handling or otherwise having contact with any animals, including without limitation, dogs of TRI or otherwise, whether on my own premises or some other location.
I understand that as a result of my involvement in viewing, handling or otherwise having contact with dogs of TRI or other animals, I may be exposed to certain risks, including but not limited to bites, scratches, infections or other injuries related to the viewing, handling, contacting and proximity to animals. By my signature below, I voluntarily agree to assume and/or incur all risks of loss, impairment, damage or injury of whatever kind, including death, that may be sustained or suffered in connection with my involvement with TRI whether or not due to, in whole or in part, the acts, omissions, negligence or other fault of TRI.
I am aware that the behavior of animals, especially shelter and rescue animals, may be unpredictable. I am aware that, although TRI makes every effort to ensure the safety of persons coming into contact with our animals, TRI cannot guarantee my safety in viewing, handling or otherwise having contact with TRI animals or other animals. In addition, TRI cannot guarantee the safety of my other pets in the presence of TRI animals or other animals.
I, the undersigned, have read this waiver and release and understand all of its terms, and I execute it voluntarily and with full knowledge of its significance.
